If there’s one thing I learnt from blogging is that, strength and growth come only through continuous effort and struggle. 







It’s funny how our generation is slowly relating growth to the number of “likes” or “follower-ship” one has and the effect of that is, it devalues self appreciation; you start focusing on what you don’t have than what you have, you start comparing yourself to other people and assuming they’re “doing better than you” and you start doubting what you’re capable of doing because you feel like it lacks substance but you fail to acknowledge your effort and how far you come. Trust me I’ve been there and in summary, bitter leaf smoothie tastes better.

Let me sip my tea and finish, all I’m trying to say is, life is short (very short) so never give up on any journey you’ve embarked unless if it’s proven insane; always encourage yourself to do better but mostly be happy for where you are right now because a seed planted has greater chances of growing than a seed not planted at all (I wrote this particularly for someone but I know it might be of help to another)

    My oh my… This you are my dream babe. Anytime I see you and Shades at a social function, I envy the guy. He's a cool guy and adores you but I would have worshiped you. Even if you don't cook or clean or even if you beat me everyday. But, God doesn't make mistakes. Y'all look good together. NICE OUTFIT! My babe still shops at harwin (I'm TIRED!) but she tries.

    I love the all white look, especially your ripped jeans. Your jacket is amazing and I love your lip colour. Love what you said about self appreciation. I definitely get caught up at times but I always try to remind myself to stop comparing.
